Andy is a contemporary painter, sculptor, and the founder of art and well-being community We Are Artists (WAA).
Eternally inspired by nature (all-knowing beauty) and human nature (work in progress), he has been drawn to the emergence / threat of AI, climate change and modern existence, as well as gender politics and burden of the next generation. His experience as a Buddhist, his understanding of neurodiversity, and his transgender son have also inspired him.
His work can be bold, strange, sometimes dark yet grounded in everyday magic, with abstract, native and intuitive elements. He uses reclaimed, natural or recycled materials, willow, wood and acrylic.
